This TMH website and accompanying TMH sharepoint site were developed by Dr Brian Grady, MD to enhance the safe, coordinated and cost effective implementation of telemental health throughout Maryland.  Dr Grady is an assistant professor and the Director of TeleMental Health, Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine at the University of Maryland and the TeleMental Health Lead for the Veterans Integrated Services Network 5.  He is funded by the Mental Hygiene Administration and the Department of Veteran Affairs.   Comments, opinions and information on this site are those of Dr Grady and other contributors and do not reflect the opinions, positions or policies of the Veterans Administration or the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. 

Dr Grady sought a position in the public and government health arena so that his knowledge and experience with telemental health could remain in the public domain and be more accessible to State, Federal, and non-profit agencies and consumers.  Dr Grady has established or expanded telemental health services in Maryland to military facilities, Veterans facilities, schools and private and public non-profit agencies including the State’s Core Service Agencies.  Dr Grady is especially interested in providing services to special populations, developing models of telemental health service delivery and collaboration, and expanding the safe use of evolving telemental health technologies.
